Sitting in front of a blank page, I reflect on how I ended up fascinated by the struggle of writing. Everything started with a woman--of course. I was 13, and she was 16, but already dating a guy in college. Then, the love letters came to save the day, proving essential to understanding life. Writing revealed itself as the ultimate tool for overcoming struggles, for bringing people together and creating a parallel universe where reality and imagination could finally coexist.

Here I am today, writing for a living and living for writing.
